so i am in the middle of watching million dollar hotel. i was expecting to get bored with it right away, but i have not enjoyed a movie this much in a pretty long time… probably not since lars and the real girl (although i may change my mind after i see the ending).
it might be because i’m tired and my day has been unhealthily dull. or it might just be because movies with crazy people in them interest me so much more than other movies do. i don’t know why.
but i would like to hang out with tom tom and eloise tonight. we could just run wildly down the street together. and shout off the tops of buildings. and be awkward and unnaturally cute.
movies like these make me wonder what’s so exciting about being sane.…or why you can’t be both.
This made me laugh, because just today I was thinking about the effort we put into remaining sane and then trying to figure out why it’s important.
